For the holiday season, Tongoro created a limited-edition capsule collection in collaboration with Industrie Africa to re-introduce some of the brand's most irreverent designs.
The navy-colored Bolingo Dress is a nod to a previous design of Tongoro's that was sported by Beyoncé in Black is King. Its exclusive-to-Industrie Africa speckled dot print is subtle but reminded the designer of fireworks and constellations—which she felt connected to her brand's identity (Tongoro means 'Star' in Sango, which is the Central African Republic primary language, the country where her mother hails from.) This full-length piece features a deep V-neck, balloon sleeves and a cinched waist, and falls to the ankle in an A-line silhouette with two ultra-flattering front slits. Style with an elegant clutch to make this piece party-ready.
