Insider Notes
-
Diarrablu's Summer '20 collection draws inspiration from a small village on the coast of Senegal, called Joal Fadiouth. This remote location is populated by mangroves and clam seashells; an ecosystem that the designer referenced for the print of this kimono, that was created with math algorithms and hand-drawings. Its relaxed silhouette is crafted with billowing bell sleeves and features an adjustable sash belt for you to cinch in at the waist. Wear over the Nabou bikini for a pool-side sartorial statement.

Founded in 2013 by Senegalese designer Diarra Bousso, Diarrablu is a sustainable resort-wear brand brought to life by a fascination for her country’s traditional craftsmanship, and math algorithms. The designers’ own background in finance served as an inspiration for the label’s striking geometric prints. Each collection personifies wanderlust with a glorious offering of swim pieces, convertible jumpsuits and kimonos.
