  • Insider Notes

    • Sustainability and a higher purpose are at the heart of Ivorian label Loza Maléombho. These Coeur Pants are made from environmentally friendly burlap by artisans local to the Abidjan area who’ve spent generations mastering their crafts. The style sits high on the waist and is sewn with darts at the front to define the shape, while the cut-outs on the thighs add a modern finish. We like them paired with the brand's matching Coeur Jacket.

Côte d'Ivoire

Established in New York City in 2009, Loza Maléombho’s self-titled brand soon made its way to the Côte d’Ivoire, a country in which the designer spent much of her childhood. Her pieces are crafted by local Ivorian artisans and feature bold decorative details—an ode to the synergies between Ivorian tribal aesthetics and New York City’s urban style.
