ORIGIN STORIES

A meeting of craft and conservation, curated with Singita.

Our five years at Industrie Africa have shown us the profound power of reclaiming narrative. In partnership with Singita, we're marking this moment by examining what emerges when we strip away prescribed notions of luxury and let our own stories breathe in their full complexity.

Against the backdrop of the Serengeti's extraordinary landscapes, this work transcends the expected fashion campaign, emerging as a living testament to the multiplicities of creative expression. Here, designers move with intention between past and future—guardians of craft traditions and architects of a new luxury vernacular. Their work speaks to a reality where technique carries memory, where innovation honors heritage, and where design emerges from deep cultural knowledge, unbound by Western expectations. We witness a sophisticated dialogue between ancestry and contemporary vision, each piece carrying forward the weight of history while reaching boldly toward tomorrow. Discover the full collection n

“This partnership represents more than just a collision of visual beauty. It represents a meeting of minds, a meeting of two brands whose values converge as they connect with their respective communities.”
— Nisha Kanabar, Industrie Africa, Founder/CEO
“I aimed to evoke a sense of freedom and a deep connection to the land, while also highlighting the craftsmanship and timeless quality of both the fashion and the landscapes. The goal was to create images that feel both grounded and ethereal, where nature and style seamlessly blend together.”
— Aart Verrips, Photographer
“Our continent is abundant with stories that deserve to be told. This collaboration is a commitment to honour those who use their creativity to tell them. We believe there is no greater inspiration than nature experienced intimately.”
— Pride Maunatlala, Singita, CMO
“We'll really go a long way in conversations around design from Africa—what it looks like, what it should be, and what it's supposed to be. I think that for me is what I would hope people would be able to take away from this shoot.”
— Sunny Dolat, Creative Director
