Iloni is a South African jewellery and accessories brand founded by Madri van Zyl, centred on material exploration and considered design. Working from a studio in Stellenbosch, the brand produces small-scale collections that balance playfulness with precision, creating pieces that are both expressive and wearable.
The practice is rooted in process. Materials such as brass and recycled rubber are reworked through an iterative design approach, allowing each piece to evolve through making. Production takes place locally, with an emphasis on durability and adaptability—jewellery that can be reshaped, repaired, and worn over time rather than replaced.
At Iloni, sustainability begins with thoughtful design. Every piece is handcrafted in South Africa in small batches by skilled artisans using quality materials selected for their durability and timeless appeal.
