  • Insider Notes

    • Emmy Kasbit’s feminine, playful silhouettes reflect the founder’s fierce sartorial vision. This lilac Isioma Skirt is made from handwoven Akwete fabric—notice the shimmering metallic threads and the intricate, abstract motif that bring dimension and textural interest to the timeless midi shape. The flattering high-rise waist is decorated with swishy fringing: the recurring theme in the season’s collection. Unfasten a few buttons at the hem to create a daring slit.

Founded in Nigeria by Emmanuel Okoro, Emmy Kasbit was born out of a passion to dress the unconventional man and woman with fierce sartorial instincts. Strong, architectural silhouettes are featured throughout each collection, with fabrics made by local Nigerian artisans using traditional West African weaving techniques. The result is a fantastic juxtaposition of bold lines, and vibrant colors and textures.
