  • Insider Notes

    • For the holiday season, Tongoro created a limited-edition capsule collection in collaboration with Industrie Africa to re-introduce some of the brand's most irreverent designs.

The Jama Jumpsuit by Senegalese brand Tongoro possesses an art-like quality. Crafted from cotton in an exclusive to Industrie Africa snake skin print; this one-piece features a square neckline with tie detail, and maxi-balloon sleeves. It cinches in at the waist and flares out dramatically with exposed, peplum pockets and a full-length skirt. Style with modest accessories to keep the focus on this exquisite piece.

      - Side pockets and back zipper fastening
      - Cotton, polyester lining
      - Made in Dakar, Senegal, ships from Senegal

Tongoro was founded in 2016 by Sarah Diouf, with sustainability at the forefront of the brand’s priorities. Counting none other than Beyoncé as a fan, the brand’s eye-catching ready-to-wear pieces are created by artisans in Senegal using age-old techniques inherited from past generations. Each style is designed for the Tongoro girl, who Diouf has described as “feminine, playful, full of character, she’s never afraid of trying new things.”
