When designing the "Touareg Bourse" bucket bag, the Bouswari designers had the nomadic Touareg people of the Sahara desert in mind. The vivid orange leather resembles the rich colors of Saharan sand dunes, while the brass-tone hardware features a custom logo depicting the legendary Akan goldweights; a brass measuring system used by the Akan people of West Africa to weigh the currency of gold dust.
