Biography
There is a deliberate pace to Flaunt Archive. Founded in 2021 by Rukaiyah Kamba, the Nigerian womenswear label specializes in modest fashion built on architectural silhouettes and sophisticated draping — clothing shaped as much through construction as through fabric choice.
Textural manipulation sits at the centre of the practice. Premium materials — plissé, crepe, silk satin blends — are worked into structured yet fluid pieces, each one built for a modern, considered wardrobe. The label's Spring-Summer collection, IMPRESSION, made its runway debut at Paris Modest Fashion Week on April 16, 2026, before launching to customers a month later on May 20. A follow-up collection is scheduled for November 2026.
The label's footprint has widened alongside its design language. In April 2026, Flaunt Archive entered a wholesale partnership with ABY CONCEPT in Abidjan, extending its retail presence across West Africa, while a collaboration with Lagos's ALARA produced custom colorway swatches designed exclusively for the concept boutique's space.
In July 2026, Flaunt Archive marks five years in business with an anniversary pop-up at Gather House in Ikoyi, Lagos, on July 18, alongside an international collaboration and pop-up with R'frique in South Africa — a fitting stretch for a label built on patience finally moving at pace.
