Biography
Ibiloa Ogundipe’s approach to womenswear is rooted in form—how fabric can be shaped, lifted, and softened to follow the contours of the body. Founded in Lagos in 2016, her eponymous label has developed a distinct language of sculptural silhouettes that balance structure with ease.
Working across daywear and occasion pieces, Ogundipe places emphasis on construction and finish. Draping is used to create volume and movement, often offset by precise detailing such as hand-beading and crystal embellishment. Sleeves are treated as focal points—puffed, gathered, or extended—while garments are designed to accommodate a range of body types without losing their clarity of line. Alongside ready-to-wear, the brand continues to produce custom aso-ebi, situating its practice within both contemporary fashion and cultural dress.
Through this interplay, Ibiloa Ogundipe builds collections that are both expressive and considered, offering pieces that move between everyday wear and ceremonial presence.
